Welcome back to another week!
This week was a great week! We had lots of lessons and we were able to do lots of talking to people too! We also spent a lot of time with members at dinners!
Not too many big stories this week. We had interviews with President Metts on Thursday and they were great! Our zone leaders gave a training about recognizing the spirt and one thing we talked about was that sometimes we don't know it was the spirt until after it already happened. Sometimes we think we should do something and we think it was just our own thoughts, but later we realize that it was the spirt that was guiding us in that moment! Listen to the spirit he will be your guide!!
Exchanges were good. They happened on Friday and it was definitely a new experience! I lived with Hermana Fellars for 24 hours and it was great. She is one of the Spanish speaking missionaries and we had a lot of lessons with friends that were all Hispanic so I mostly just sat there, but I learned that people really appreciate when people take time to immerse themselves in the culture and it makes them feel cared about and appreciated.
The coolest thing that happened this week was that I met a family that breeds and sells the expensive ragdoll cats!!! They are so cool. They sell their kittens for like $800! It's kind of cool. They love their cats like they are their children. I loved seeing their kittens and the mama ragdoll :))
Spiritual thought for the week is from Elder Anderson! He said, "As we know very well, having faith in Jesus Christ and being a true disciple is more than a one-time decision—more than a one-time event. It is a sacred, ongoing process that grows and expands through the seasons of our lives, continuing until we kneel at His feet."
We must chose again and again to follow Chirst! Each day we wake up and decide who we are going to follow, choose joy and follow Christ.
