First Day at Provo MTC

This is my first week of emailing everyone since I got set apart as a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints things have been so amazing. Last week I was doing home MTC and it was a blast I love my district so much and I am so happy to be here with them in Provo. All the elders and sisters in my district are going to either Tacoma or Vancouver Washington. It's so cool to have so many people that I will be able to see on my mission. I have great teachers, Brother Bradshaw and Sister Key. Brother Bradshaw actually served in Tacoma so he's been a lot of help. I got dropped of yesterday at the MTC in Provo and it's been so great to be here. The goodbyes are definitely bitter sweet but I know everything will be great. Last night my whole district played uno and then today we all went and did an endowment session at the Provo temple. There was the sweetest lady there that had names that she wanted done. Sister Lundberg took one and did a name for her, and then at the end of our session she came up to her and thanked her for helping her family get their temple work done. The temple was so beautiful.

Here at the MTC my district is a part of a pilot program that is all about the temple. Me and my district get to go to the temple every few days and we get to be a part of all the ordinances. This also means we'll be at the MTC for a few extra days!

Tomorrow we are starting with baptisms, it's going to be so much fun! Sister Lines is my companion and she is from Safford Arizona. She and I get along really well and so far it's been great to have her as my companion. We have been able to click really well. I also get along well with the elders in my district and they are so much fun and always keep us smiling. Being here with my district has grown my testimony so much and my love for my savior has just deepened. Hope everything is well wherever you are!!
