This week was good! It was actually the longest week of my entire life! But it was a good week!
We did a lot of finding this week and we knocked on many doors! Not a lot came out of it sadly enough we have a couple people we are going back to this week to see if they are truly interested! Hopefully something good comes out of it!
One thing we did to find people was go to a bunch of yard sells. We made lots of good contacts! And found some fun stuff too!
We also did a lot of wandering around our area to find people!! We have a member in our ward that has a corn roaster so we got to go there and they gave us some delicious corn!! It was really yummy. And while we were there we got to talk to a lot of people. They were all nice but none were interested:( we also have been painting rocks and leaving them places for people to find!
Yesterday we went to early morning seminary and it was so much fun!! We had to get up at 5:30 but it was worth it! I loved being with the youth and they were great! We talked a lot about the parable of the good shephard and it was great!!
Yesterday night we walked around the Safeway store parking lot! We bought tulips and gave them to people and we also left some tulips in people car door handles! It was a lot of fun, but again people were nice but nobody wanted to learn more:(
It was a great week and this week we are preparing for Elder D. Todd Christofferson's arivial! We are reading his talks and preparing ourselves in every way that we can! He is coming this Saturday to talk to our entire mission! So that will be so great!
One of my favorite talks I listened to of his this week from is called, "Why the Covenant path" he talk about the importance of making and keeping our covenants with God. He said, "A second unique aspect of the covenant path is our relationship with Deity. The covenants God offers to His children do more than guide us. They bind us to Him, and, bound to Him, we can overcome all things." I know that it is because of my covenant relationship with God that I can do all things.
