This week was an amazing week! I hope you all had a great week as well! It was a simple week, but as always I have seen the Lord's hand in my life everyday. He is there all the time, but we have to look for it, so we can see it :)
As always Bainbridge brings many adventures! This week we were walking and realized that we were on the wrong path and to get to the other one we'd have to walk backwards or climb a fence, so we of course climbed a fence! In our dresses :) We also had a service project over the last week where we met the lady that helped develop the recipe for CinaBon!!! It was so awesome to meet her!
This week I have seen the importance of prayer and how important it is to grow our connection with Christ. As a missinary we pray all the time and we say so many prayers in just one day. There is a reason we pray so much. We pray because we constantly need our Heavenly Father's help and His advice. I have seen this week that when we pray for specific things and then we try and do all we can, Heavenly Father will help us. It is okay to ask Him for help. He is waiting for His children to reach out to Him and ask for His help. Heavenly Father is willing and waiting for us. We just have to have faith!!
This is what President Eyring said about prayer:
"Joseph Smith, the prophet Enos and many others used prayers of faith to obtain continuous revelation. As we face today’s challenges and those yet to come, we too will need to practice the same pattern."
Prayer is so important!! I invite you all to reach out in prayers of faith this week and expect and look for miracles!!
